Scales for Big-Bags

Structurally, these are usually platform scales that have a special superstructure on the platform for attaching and handling big-bags. In this way, both filling of big-bags and dosing - balancing from big-bags can be realized.

It is also possible to use special loadcells  (usually 4 pieces), which are placed in the webs (legs) of the structure for attaching the big-bag, which then transfers the load of the weighed material to the weighing platform.

The evaluation apparatus can then control the process of emptying or filling into the big-bag.
