Bagging scales

There are several types of bagging scales and they are used to weigh granary materials into bags and similar packaging.

An important division is into Gross and Net scales. For Gross, the batch of material is weighed directly in the package, usually a bag, or for Net without the package in the container, which is emptied after weighing the material into the package.

Furthermore, these scales can be distinguished and constructed according to the packaging used for the material or the method of filling (eg valve scales).

When dosing into so-called open bags, a device for closing them is necessary, eg by sewing, gluing, sealing, etc.

Another type of bags are self-closing valve bags, which are suitable for sufficiently loose and dusty materials.
